I'm not disagreeing with you either. But guessing from sales of the DVDs in Canada (not international), people don't mind buying them with bilingual packaging. Remember, it's a "packaged good" and treated this way. Most consumers don't care about packaging or original artwork or lack of a DTS...
Valiant effort, but the studios don't care - why would they. It's all about sales. I personally am not a fan of them, so I only import DVDs that are my favourite films (when the DVD released here is bilingual). Like Kill Bill for example. On a side note, I could see this practice used...
