Sara McLachlan - Surfacing - there's a couple really good low bass tracks on there. I think track 2 or 3? Bruce Cockburn has good bass. Jean Luc Ponty. Depeche Mode and New Order. Also, watch TV. You'd be amazed at the low bass content of a lot of TV shows.
