Lots, but nothing I can share right now. However, it should be noted that the 2.0 track is correct, so the 1992 Director's Cut is still preserved in the set.

Not to turn this into a Deck-A-Rep thread, but at no point in any of the versions, including The Final Cut, is that spoiler confirmed to be absolutely true within the context of the story or the film. It's merely a question that's posed, and it's a very Dickian question at that. Unlike Han...

Which I'm very happy to hear. The point of all the fixes was not to show-off and take you out of the film each time a new alteration came up. And even though there are probably hundreds of changes in picture, sound and visual effects throughout, I'm glad people are having a difficult time...

Actually, that's not a beloved mistake. That "flaw" was entirely intentional. And there are actually two jumpcuts in that scene. The first, when Leon knocks the gun out of Deckard's hand, and the second, when Leon punches a hole into the decontamination truck. It's an old trick employed to...

Ron kindly asked me to refrain from posting until the chat tonight, but here's just one for the road. Way, way ahead of you. I proposed those same options to Warners a couple years ago, but with catchier/cheesier names, like "Scene Splicer" and "Custom Cutter." After multiple meetings with the...

Pretty much what my good friend Dharm said... Vangelis declined to participate for personal reasons. This was after YEARS of discussions with his people and multiple attempts at trying to schedule an interview with him. We even had a camera crew on deck in Greece and I was ready to fly over...

Believe me, it was highly tempting to go in and "fix" several of the original VFX shots. But that becomes a very slippery slope and each change was very carefully considered.

Both Mr. Perenchio and Mr. Yorkin were gracious enough to appear in my "Dangerous Days" documentary. And you might be surprised by what they had to say. I certainly was.

No, because Warners clearly and widely announced last year that the original 1982 version of the film was going to be included in the DVD. That's why.

Re: "The Hunger" I recorded Tony's commentary in L.A. and Susan Sarandon's commentary in New York. It would have been great to get them in a room together but this is the best we could do given the circumstances. If all goes well, there might be a couple of other minor extras on there as well.

Warners hasn't told me anything, so no scoops I'm afraid. But let me put it this way: I'm currently on-board to produce about six DVD's between now and Summer '05. Two of those are Ridley Scott titles. Neither of them is "Blade Runner." That doesn't mean that this so-called "interim...

I'm still formulating an answer to that very question in case I need it for the DVD Producers panel at Comic Con on Thursday. Let me keep working on it a few more days. But in short, it's not a "yes" or "no" answer. Nothing about this film was ever that easy.

I'm fairly certain "Blade Runner" was presented in 70mm when I saw it at the Mann Hollywood on opening day. I also seem to remember the advertising included a 70mm logo in a Blade Runner-esque font. I think I also saw it in 70mm at the Pacific Hastings in Pasadena about a week or so later...

Randy: I wish I could give you a full update and timeline, but it's just an ongoing process to make sure that it's done "right," and that most fans will be happy. To everyone: Ridley is not the one behind any perceived "delay." If it were up to him, you'd be getting everything you wanted...

How can something be "delayed" if it never had an official release date? At any rate... -- began long ago, when the film was still in production. It was definitely not a "post-release second thought." The unicorn dream sequence was shot back in 1982, before the film's release (and was...
