Still going through this set, didn't get to it over break, but so far fantastic, I think it deserves at least 1 of the HTF awards either for best DVD or best special edition.

I've only gotten a bit in to the set with the extras for Alien and Aliens, but so far I'm quite interested, I plan to check out the Alien 3 extra disc next, and will really get in to this set over my holiday vacation.

Ivan, the audio commentary for Alien was also nominated for an award for best audio commentary.

I just got my set, and the packaging is everything that I feared it would be it made me nervous just to open half of it, but thankfully the DVDs inside were all still attached to the hubs and seem to be in good shape. I'm looking forward to getting in to this set.

I'm getting the box set definitely even though I haven't seen any of the Alien films. The reasons are that it is a very well put together box set from all I can tell, and it is not overly expensive. I did a double take when I read about the packaging, but I still put mine on order this afternoon. The packaging makes me nervous, but everything else about the set looks good so far.

I'm anxiously awaiting word on this set, I'm very interested especially since in the IGN chat they mentioned that Fox was looking to keep the price down to under $100, which if still true makes this even more tempting.
