it's the only thread I could find on the subject, but there are comments up to last year on this thread so I though it still held relivence. And an a/b comparison seemed to so a marked improvment on the Film Detective release over the older one, and definatly miles better than the bootleged...

in 1999 Image Enter. had an agreemnet to release 40+ titles from the WWC. They did some, like the 50th Annry edition that like you say is out of print. In 2012, Image was bought out by RLJ Enter. and those remaining titles have gone unreleased??

a industry artichle dated 7/99 said that Image Entertainment had entered into an agreement for 40+ titles from the Wade Williams Collection, most had been released as DVD editions, nothing came out as BRD versaions. And some of the titles never came out at all because the company was bought out...
