Me too, but I think a lot of people are going to skip the physical release (if that happens) or digital because of the problem they had with a certain actor which is very unfortunate. She was great!!
You thought she was much worse than Willie Scott, the blonde chick that screamed her way through damn near the entirety of Temple Of Doom?
Poor Helena is getting the short end of the stick in this movie. She deserves much more. Hoping against hope we get another film with her, with an...
Well said. This is going beyond the line of disliking a film, which is perfectly fine. Of course you can dislike this movie, and of course art is subjective. But to go to the extreme some of these "reviewers" go to in order to turn heads is just sad, and there really isn't any other way to...
I certainly do not not agree with over the top negativity of most of the reviewers. Most of whom go into categories that are beyond the film, and in their brain a political agenda driven way to brainwash an audience. Disgusting, and not true at all. Chris Gore actually calls the sidekick a...
Well, I scoured Youtube for a spell for reviews of "The Dial of Destiny". Not surprisingly most every one (many) was negative to the extreme against anything this movie had to offer. Many of these pushing an 'agenda' driven narrative so unnecessarily unwanted in today's society that it makes...
Yup, Marion was a much better love interest than sidekick. Helena was much more capable of handling herself in sticky situations than Marion. I hated Temple of Doom with that frantic screaming lady, but Short Round was OK. in 'The Last Crusade' Indy's father was too stern, even though I did...
I like how one of the major complaints I saw is that the final act is really "out there".
Right, like the other films were paint by numbers in normalcy.
I agree. I liked her immensely. Cool character with an interesting backstory
The best sidekick of any of the Indy films IMO. I could see a series of films with her, but I feel Indiana Jones would have to have at least a presence, or small role in them to make it work for me.
I absolutely loved it!!!
Not sure what everyone's gripe with Helena was?
She was my favorite character. I'm sad that we don't get to see another film with the two of them.
I hated the brownish yellow color timing that plagued the film, but that wasn't a big as issue as I thought it would be...
He is probably not someone I'd like to get an autograph from. Meeting (strangers) celebrities is sort of weird to begin with, but all the way back to the first Star Wars film he has been pretty much the same person out of character going by interviews. Not saying you are wrong but he is one...

Sounds like Harrison Ford wasn't pulling any punches filming this.
From another article Ford had this to say about fans questions:
“Well, they usually ask me, ‘If there was a fight between Han Solo and Indiana...
I liked Arthur 2.
It depends on my love for the character or movie for me. The more I like the character, the more I care of the way they are written.
With KOTCS things were sort of tied up in a somewhat happy ending for him. I didn't like the story of the film or his son 'Mutt', but I'm glad...
My fear is that Indiana Jones will die in this one, and if the movie is very much below my standards it will be another Han Solo case and tarnish my enjoyment of the original film (Raiders of the Lost Ark) every time I watch it.
Not many people seem to talk or care about this aspect of long...
Very true, and I'm not sure why you insist to deny it. If you enjoyed the films, then what do you care if they started with the "Mystery Box" concept? What are you defending, and why do you care so much they let each film maker take their movie in any direction they chose? It has been stated...
Of course it can. Not saying it will be, but going all the way back to 'Temple of Doom' I've learned to set expectation very low when it comes to these series of films.
Like I said earlier the trailer did nothing for me, but that's not to say I won't be seeing it on opening day. It's Indiana Jones, they have my money no matter what.
I didn't hear anything about WW84 (my favorite film of that year) being bashed like that. It is probably the gold standard of woman empowerment. Sounds like they are just selective with Disney properties, which is quite weird indeed.
EDIT: I just checked Metacritic, and WW84 got review...
