In skateboarding ....49 is ancient. That is what I mean. It isn't the number, its how I feel doing it. Everything working against me including the biggest issue, balance. Which is a fraction of what it was in 1990.

I turned 49 on Monday. I bought a new skateboard, and despite feeling old, I skated pretty well...considering I'm a fossil. This is my favorite skate video from 1989. Tony Hawk n his absolute prime.
