Ah...that could make sense, although two demerits for Seth for screwing with the time line if so. I did not discern that those scenes were playing out at a different point in time than the rest of the episode.
If I want that stuff, I will watch Westworld (and I do!).
After "From Unknown Graves", did they ever dive deeper into the Kaylons that are being sold as domestic help gaining sentience? I am trying to determine if I missed an episode or perhaps dosed off during a further explanation.
I am really enjoying this season of The Orville.
A few general comments…I nominate J.Lee’s Lamar as the stiffest most wooden actor in the cast. And that’s saying something.
And, since the new seasons are airing at the same time, it looks like the Kaylons that are being sold as domestic...
I generally hate almost all sci-fi time travel (Exhibit A: The last season of Picard), but damn if I didn’t thoroughly enjoy EP6 of The Orville.
Best line ever spoken by an actor relating to sci-fi time travel:
Temporal law can blow me: G.Malloy
For me, this season is just hitting...
I really enjoyed EP2. At times it seemed like I was watching bits of Alien, X-Files, and a hint Trek “First Contact” when the Borg were assimilating the crew…..all that thrown into a blender.
There surely was more than enough CGI indulgence, but I have to say, I was pretty impressed by the quality of the ships and other vessels while the Orville was in dry dock. The whole Gordon drone chase thing did not really add anything to the overall narrative of the show, but damn it sure...
