I assume you are asking about "Love"?
Its incredible.
Take a look at the threads here and elsewhere. I am 46, so I have been listening to the Beatles for close to 40 years. I can say that, without question, the songs on this CD/DVD sound better than any other Beatles presentation I have ever...

Hey Paul! Long time, no common threads!
Is "Love" available as a SACD? All the scuttle I have found says it with be DVD/DVD-A.
Looking forward to it, even if its only DD 5.1.

Boy...its been a while since I could add anything to this thread. I seem to already own just about everything that I am even mildly interested in, as far as Hi-Rez goes.
But I just got Roger Waters "In the Flesh - Live" on SACD. It appears that the MC mix does not use the center channel. My...
Hey Paul,
Merry Christmas/Happy New Year!
Going from memory, the DD of BIA has a 24/96 5.1 surround track, and (I THINK!) 24/48 2CH. The MC track is killer. The track "The Man's Too Big, The Man's Too Strong" has some incredible bass hits during the chorus.
This title is a case of music I...
Peter Gabriel 3 SACD (Melted Face)
Had that one on a cassette dub from a friend's LP way back in the day. Always liked it, and finally had a $10 Busted Buy coupon plus 10% off, that got it back into the collection. Money well spent. Its a single layer, 2CH release, but the sonics are pretty...
SRV/Albert King - In Session (this one far exceeded my expectations)
And on the way from yourmusic.com
Dylan - Love and Theft
Wes Montgomery - Incredible Jazz Guitar
I am buying up whataver SACD's they have that even mildly interest me. At $5.99 a pop shipped, why not?
I picked the Clapton and Elton's that I did not already have (Slow Hand, 461 Ocean, and Tumbleweed), also via yourmusic.com.
I hope they never wise up to how cheap they are selling SACD, and only wish they would also sell DVD-A.

Just got Layla and Elton's Honky Chateau SACDs. Both spectacular in MC, IMHO. Wonderful, wonderful discs!
Layla is pretty much an ambient mix, while HC has a fair amount of discrete sounds in the rears, but both work quite well and are very pleasing to my ears....very, very smooth frequency...
Picked up Elton's Madman Across the Water.
Very nice in MC...have not/will not be listening to the 2CH tracks any time soon. Much smoother in the highs/upper mids than certain parts of GBYBR.
Probably will snag Honky Chateau at some point too.

Matt/Lee,
Yes Classic Records. I like it a lot. The sonics are pretty good, and the LP is relatively quiet. Things get a bit congested at certain points when all 4 band members are firing on all cylinders, but thats true of EVERY version of this I have ever heard.
The drum hits and the bass...
I bought Led Zeppelin II on 200g Vinyl. Does that count as hi-rez?:D
Seriously, I haven't bought anything lately...I seem to already have everything that has my interest. I think the last title I did buy was either GBYBR or Tommy on SA-CD, but that was a couple months ago to be sure.
