A lot of people pointed to the fact that there's very little LFE when Anakin crashes Grevious's ship at the beginning. I'll admit that it didn't sound like I expected, but I wouldn't say that ROTS doesn't have a good amount of LFE.

But if they want to honor "original" work, why nominate two films that have had film incarnations before in KK and WOTW?

I've stayed out of this whole thing just because there's no way I can be objective about Star Wars. I'm just too nuts about it. That, and I haven't seen Narnia. I just wanted to point out that only Star Wars could spark this much internet debate. Especially TPM. ;)

That Clone Wars Gunship is already up for pre-order at Amazon. Put in my order a few days ago. Most of the time, I end up finding stuff in stores before my Amazon order ships, but it never hurts to have something to fall back on.

Yeah, those pics make me a lot more excited to the Shaak Ti death. Even though I still think it would have been better had Anakin done the deed. That way, he would have offed a big-name Jedi.

I think they should, as that's the point, I think, of Obi-Wan and Yoda's final arc. I think that the final scene with the spirts reflects Anakin's atonement, but is also Yoda and Obi-Wan's way of saying, "yeah you were right all along." This may belong in the Saga thread, but I think ROTJ...

Yep, it's finished right where I would expect it to within the PT itself, as I never thought for a minute that it wouldn't outgross AOTC. The Vader factor alone pretty much guaranteed that. And of course no movie will ever have the hype of TPM, so one couldn't expect ROTS to challenge that.

I can actually see the logic in Yoda and Obi-Wan splitting up. Had they double-teamed Palpy, Yoda seems pretty certain it would have turned into a one-on-one confrontation pretty quickly, as Obi-Wan would have been dispatched.
