The sooner some people realize that Toshiba's pricing strategy is the main reason HD DVD is currently sitting atop the pile of failed consumer technology the better off they'll be.
SD DVD - Film and Documentary - Home Theater Forum Movies (Theatrical) - Home Theater Forum TV and HDTV Programming - Home Theater Forum Holy crap this isn't rocket science.
Warner Bros. has announced plans to discontinue its support of the HD DVD format after May 31, 2008. See a list of Warner HD DVD titles. Props to Amazon.
Just wanted to say props to you Mr. Hunt for coming here and explaining your reasoning logically and maturely. I look forward to reading your site and check it daily. Keep up the good work.
When one's head isn't buried in the sand much information will find it's way in there. :P If Toshiiba had a problem with Sony's claim I'm thinking they would have actually, oh I don't know.... refuted it directly in their statement, rather than answer questions no one is asking.
I thought someone might like to clarify/elaborate. If true, a bit odd to see Mr. Zohn on the main page of format-neutral HTF. Ron and the the others have gone to great lengths to explain HTF's format-neutrality. Would be a shame to have affiliations with individuals who prefer one format over...
What's wrong with the poll question? It's the same thing that's being discussed here and everywhere else that this format war is discussed. And it didn't even have 'sux', 'pwned' and such in the title.
