Randall, I have run into that WB cast pic before. Here are the I.D.s from the Western Clippings site. Some of them are wrong. I'll add my alleged corrections and additions below, before the editing window closes.
1.
Picture 1. L-R, Peter Breck, Ray Danton ? (I'm not sure either), Mike...
Back in Post #2276 I posted a bunch of photos of Efrem Z hosting the HOLLYWOOD PALACE. That episode was S1E9 and broadcast on Feb. 29, 1964, about three weeks after the last new episode of 77 SUNSET STRIP was shown. Since clapper/slates dates show on some of the YouTube uploads, we know...
Try this: disconnect your aerial and rescan, reconnect the aerial and scan again.
My reception has been wacky the last month or so. After rescanning, my CBS group is 30 channels away from where it is supposed to be. Some channels show up in duplicate, one showing "no signal" and the duplicate...
Stay away from that poorly run bootleg outfit. They charge you right away and take months, (six in my case), to fill your order. Poor shipping/packing, broken cases, skipping discs. Canned email responses to direct, "Where's my stuff", questions. Look up the complaints about the company...
The clue might be in the wall paper. But on the other hand, it would not have taken much work for the studio carpenters to take a standing staircase out of storage and put up a wall and door or two up.
I found it interesting that the de la Vega Hacienda patio set from the ZORRO series was an...
That's not Sue Randall in that Newport commercial.
This is, however, Raquel Welch with Efrem Zimbalist, Jr.
I talked about Efrem's hosting THE HOLLYWOOD PALACE, back before I started posting pictures. There was speculation that since Louis Quinn was on the show, in his Roscoe outfit...
Dorothy Provine had albums of songs she sang on THE ROARING 20's, and there are more tribute clips and songs uploaded on you tube. One song she sang on the show, "Hard Hearted Hannah, The Vamp of Savannah G.A.", was used on THE GALLANT MEN and sang/sung? by Eddie Fontaine. So if that cleared...
Maybe Suzanne and the 77SS gang appeared in a "be with us next week" spot at the end of the "Girl on the Run" TV premiere?
Showing normal length, 52:00 minute, American TV episodes in European theaters does seem like the episodes would be too short, but, as added value, shown with a full length...
Rob, as to runtimes, The F.B.I. one was a two part episode called "The Executioners" and was 93 minutes in the theatrical version. It was on the WAC streaming service.
The CHEYENNE, MASSACRO etc. was from the two part "Gold, Glory, and Custer", S4Eps7&8, and was 96 minutes, and is on...
You can't trust the internet, Russ, and don't forget to wear your shades, Dad.
I get the names, Karen Sharpe and Karen Steele mixed up.
These two pics were identified online as being Efrem, with Patrice Wymore and Merry Anders, but they are Joan Staley, (I think), and Joanna Barnes.
Gloria Elmore's first and last writing jobs were co-credited with a guy named James Barnett who also has a slim group of credits of mostly WB TV shows.
I was able to find an obit for him and it said he was a story editor at Warner.
Back when there were a lot of magazines publishing short...
Looking over Robert Webber's IMDB credits, I was surprised to see he never was in 77 SUNSET STRIP or any other classic Warner Brothers series. I define classic WB as any WB series on ABC starting in 1955 with WARNER BROTHERS PRESENTS and ending with 77 SUNSET STRIP in 1964.
For my lost episode...
Russ, you should have let that "Double Identity" review simmer for at least a day, without the Edit reveal.
I was about to post about how great it is for old TV mystery fans to have short term memory loss, these days. Not only don't I remember "Who done it"?, but I don't even remember if I...
2014 in fact. The white haired gent on the left is Robert Colbert who is best known for THE TIME TUNNEL, and being restless on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. At Warner Bros. he appeared in many classic WB series, including many 77s and was Brent Maverick for only two episodes of MAVERICK, but...
"The Kookie Caper", S2E2, with Sherry Jackson, King Donovan, and John Hubbard.
I was looking for a picture of Kookie with Sherry Jackson and this picture with Kookie and Cheyenne came up:
Rob, at the beginning of THE OUTSIDER pilot, which involved Roy Huggins, a character is walking down The Walk of Fame, looking for Darren McGavin's office, and some of the stars names are seen. As a joke, we see stars for Roy Huggins and his wife Adele Mara. I wonder if they took the prop...
Thanks, to you too Randall!
Now is a good time to turn back to page three of this thread to posts #44 and #45 for more Kookie Speak with YouTubes of "Kookie! Kookie! Lend Me Your Comb!" and "Kookie and Maynard Teach Pat Boone Hip Talk".
Don't get caught with smog in your noggin!
Here's a "Kookie Talk Page" from a 77 Sunset Strip comic book. ( Russ, feel free to post the page in this thread. The only way I can post pictures involves too much typing for me.)

Let's not go there.
I was watching "The Night Was Six Years Long" and was startled that Roscoe called himself, J.OLIVER ROSCOE!! But it turned out that is not his real full name! It was just a ploy to get a suspect's hand writing sample with specific letters. (The suspect was filing out...
Re: Why not more pics of the location: Since 77 Sunset Strip was not a real address, tourists could not find it. The 77 awning was probably only up for real when they shot the exterior shots. That could of been only one morning in 1958.
Tab Hunter.....Troy Donahue.
