To follow up on MatS' comments earlier, I also thought it was strange that they tried to make the audience believe that Jack and Mandy had died in the explosion. As soon as I saw those two people walking towards the car, I knew it wasn't Tony and Mandy. I understand why the show's characters...

Those were two of the most exciting and supenseful hours of television I have ever seen. I was actually pacing the floor for about 10 minutes after the episode ended. Contrivances aside, I think this may have been my favorite season so far. One of the things I liked best about the last two...

Hey, what happened to the scar on Palmer's right hand? It would have been nice for long-time fans to have included that. Also, I'm glad to see there may finally be major repercussions for the Jack Bauer style of doing things! Bart

OK, did anyone else notice how many times the phrase "on point" was used during this week's episode? "I want you and Tony on point." "Who's on point for the operation?" "I'd like you to run point." I don't know if all my quotes are accurate, but I do remember hearing the expression enough times...

I completely agree with Brent that the two episodes prior to this one were sub-par. First Jack thinks up this ridiculous cover story that no one in their right mind would buy. Then, by pure chance, Jack returns safely back to CTU in the next episode. What was the point? Surely they could have...

I know I'm nitpicking, but does anyone remember how long it took Curtis to get from CTU to the office where he was captured? It seemed to me like it took a lot less time for him to get back to CTU. Maybe because there's less traffic at this time of day? :) I live in a very small place compared...

Ha ha, after watching tonight's episode, I'm starting to think that's exactly how the conversation went. :) I remembered this post and nearly burst out laughing when they got back to Tony's house and he asked if anyone wanted a beer! Bart

Hey, did anyone else notice there was nothing about Heller's son in last night's episode? Has everyone forgotten about him? After the bad guy "martyred himself" by driving into the truck, Manning exclaimed "he was our only lead." I kept expecting him to suddenly remember the kid in the torture...

I like how Dricoll forced Chloe to resign and that's that. Maybe she will weasil herself back into the storyline, but this part of the episode seemed very realistic to me. Only Jack gets forgiveness. :) Bart

I don't think Jack killed those two guys because of any guilt he felt over letting the kid die. I think he did it only because he knew Chloe would not continue helping him if he let her friend die and he needed the satellite coverage to continue tracking the bad guy. Man, I love this show!
