The Ewocks ARE killers!
let’s not forget that they wanted our heroes for a fine BBQ. ;)
And as I just read in Ken Nepzok’s book “Why We Love Star Wars” they’re portrayed as savage killers that sneak at you (if you’re playing a trooper) at night in the video game Battlefront II.
Ahsoka was the main reason I watched the Clone Wars series in the first place. I liked her character very much and can’t wait to see her again in Rebels.
Cool, I will do the same thing later this year. With the only exception that I won’t watch Clone Wars, because I just recently watched the whole show on Netflix.
Instead I’m gonna watch Rebels for the first time.
I will certainly do that to.
But Josh is right when it comes to the planed films about characters we do love portrayed by the actors we used to. Although McGregor could play Obi-Wan again, I don't know if there is much to tell when Kenobi lived most of his life after RotS in solitude.
And I...
In my opinion the filmmakers had to use the old characters as long as the actors are still around and availible.
But the focus has to be on the new ones, and it is. Rey is the center of TFA and will be for the entire trilogy.
And as much I love Han Solo, I think it was the right decision to kill...
We discuss this with the knowledge ot the PT, but the maker(s) of the original film didn't come up with these details at that time.
So maybe it is just sloppy film making after all. :P
I don't.
Wasn't it always the plan to be Luke as the one who takes it on with Vader and the emperor?
And Tatooine seems far out enough that nobody cared what's his name is anyway.
Maybe Obi-Wan encountered someone on Tattooine who was with the Force and became some sort of godfather to her/him/them.
Hers/his/they child could be Rey. And that's the connection Kenobi had to Rey, that's why he is in her vision.
Works probably better than a love interest.
He could have had adventures and a love interest on Tattooine. Not impossible.
I like the idea of an Obi-Wan spin-off, but only when McGregor plays the part.
That's the same reason I'm skeptical about an Han Solo film.
I don't have any intention to see Avatar 2 in the theaters. I liked the first one just ok, so I probably wait for the Blu-ray if anything.
But I don't think it's wise for both movies to go into competition with one another.
I loved what Daisy Ridley made with her character. :)
I will see it tomorrow a 2nd time, than I'll probably be able to rank it within the canon.
But for starters:
IV = 100%
V = 95%
VI = 90%
II+III = 85%
I = 80%
VII is maybe at 90%
Yes. Yes, yes, yes! :D
