Well, traditionally, Heroes always ends its season by resolving the volume/storyline and spends the final minute setting up the next one. I doubt this year will be any different.
I think it's gotten to the point now where people will complain about "Heroes" no matter what, because hey - that's just the way to talk about it these days. But really, the second half of the season is much better than the first half, IMO.
Decent start to the new volume, but I'm disappointed that we will apparently have to go through the "Claire has daddy issues!" storyline yet again. Seriously, they've done this in every volume so far.
That seems pretty unlikely at this point. (Of course, at this very moment it's a moot point seeing as he's dead, but I think it's fair to expect he won't be for long.)
Indeed. And Adam was more freaked out than anyone, so clearly it was the first time his powers manifested. I think it's safe to assume that not all eclipses rob heroes of their powers. The one in the pilot didn't seem to affect the previous generation.
I'm happy to see I was wrong about Hiro's fake-stabbing of Ando was somehow going to continue to drive them apart. That was getting old. Peter lost all his powers... Didn't see that one coming. But at least he should be rid of his "hunger" now. I guess with Mohinder going Brundlefly, they had...
That is actually from a deleted scene from the first episode of season 2. I don't know if that counts as a spoiler or not (and it may or may not be canon).
Getting healed by blood injection from Claire or Adam is a one time deal, it doesn't continue to protect you from injury. Sylar was healed this way at the end of season 2, but shortly after when he was stabbed by Claire he didn't heal until he'd acquired her power.
I figure he had an idea on how to "fix" it before he even did it, I'm just disappointed we didn't see it this week. No doubt this will play a big part in them turning on each other. What I am wondering now is; now that we know Linderman is just an illusion, how was Nathan healed?
Agreed. They should however be made to feel bad about not devoting their full attention to the show (for a mere 44 minutes a week) if they insist on bitching about it to the world afterwards.
Now, that I will agree with. Every indication so far has been that he stops time completely. And he can go backwards in time as well as forwards, why can't he make it stand still?
Yep, that was exactly how it was already explained on the show. No offense, but it amazes me how often I see people having issues with something in a TV series or movie and complain about it, only to have it turn out whatever the "problem" was has already been explicitly addressed. WHY can't...
Good episode. Glad to see HRG wasn't actually won over by Sylar, and that Sylar is not suddenly a redeemed good guy. Not sure I buy the whole "I can't control the hunger" thing, though. What I didn't like was what they're doing with Hiro and Ando. Clearly, their friendship is going to...
As far as we know, Nikki is dead and there may yet be a plausible explanation for her doppelganger's existance. Too early to tell. As for Linderman, I'm guessing he's a figment of Nathan's imagination and really still dead. Again, too early to tell. Claire's mom, however, was never killed off in...
