If the disc was recorded in a v. high quality digital coding eg 24-192 or even 24-96, then yes, there'll be a significant improvement when properly transferred to LP compared to CD or the dread and disgusting MP3.
Of course, if any sites offer 24-96 flac files, then that should be as good as LP...
I really enjoy the new soundtrack, which is the closest I've come to experiencing the 2021 movie. But nothing yet has matched the vibrancy and joy of the original Broadway version, judged by the original cast album. That, in an HD dubbing (24-96) from an original LP, is my turn-to WSS experience.
