Not quite .. Deep Discount is certainly cheaper than Amazon for instance, but the company I'm thinking of it maybe also a manufacturer of the discs. Thanks for getting back to me though.

Can anyone refresh my memory with the name of the company which offers super-cheap international shipping on Kino products? I think they're a major wholesaler of kino products. I can't buy direct from the Kino site as they won't ship to Australia..

Quite right, Bujaki. I just hope we can tempt a few here who haven't seen it yet, to experience the uninhibited joy of 'Jazz on a Summer's Day'. A colossal movie.

Hi Leo I wasn't having a go at you .. just laughing in a very nice way at our age discrepancy. No-one ever warned me that if you lived longer, you also grew older!

Leo A said As a 38 year old classic movie fan, that's news to me that we're not supposed to like Bing Crosby. Well, what would you know, Leo? I mean, double your age and add another year for good luck and .. well, and ... well .... ok , forget it. Anyway, when I was 38 I knew EVERYTHING! And I...

I can't participate in Kino's sales here in Australia and we are affected greatly by postal delays. But this morning my copy of 'Love Me Tonight', ordered ages ago, finally arrived. So I'm happy.

I've never seen 'Song of Norway', which has just been announced by Kino Lorber. But I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the reviews posted for the movie on IMDB ... they're pretty well all of one mind, but my favourite is this one, posted by '3matrix': "Adjectives fail this film. "Dreadful" isn't...

I find DVDBeaver a terrifically useful site for getting the first impression and comparison of transfers as a guide to whether to upgrade or not ..or whether to look to buy a Region A or Region B release. Of course it's not a definitive site. But it will be a sad day when such a site created...

Amen to that. She is my Goddess. First up please, 'For Me and My Gal' -- though for that, we'll have to wait for Warners.
