I've heard that peanut butter is supposed to pull out wax from plastic mouldings. I didn't try that (I prefer my peanut butter in my belly :) ), but I did use a Mars Staedler eraser. It's a fairly soft compound eraser, and just rub away the wax. It takes some elbow grease but it will work...
