    Yep I got mine too. Cheap looking package & no English subtitles. Anchor Bay have gone to no trouble at all with this, but the film looks & sounds great. I keep all my Blu's in a large draw (but it's getting a bit full these days), so not that bothered about the cover.

The sixties, my favourite decade for movies (my teen years). 55 Days has its dramatic problems, but it looks great, fantastic sets & amazing music score, I love it. It's early in the year & already there's, 55 Days At Peking, The War Lord...

    Yeah, it was big! Let's not forget that if you saw those films on the telly then, it was 4x3 on a small screen...& mono!

    I saw Ben-Hur at the Casino Cinerama in Old Compton Street, I think it was around 1970. All I can remember of it is how bad the model ships looked on the really big screen. I also saw The Last Valley there a few years later, stunning!

    Ah, the Sony HDcam SR. I was using that about five years ago, I just about got the hang of setting the menu (which I found a bit complicated), & then never used it again. I was told at the time that it would be the last ever tape format, & they were right.

    Apparently they're the same, both come from a 2K scan transfer done at Pinewood, according to someone over at Blu-ray.

    This was reported by someone over at Blu-ray.com but no link. I'm not surprised there's no pre-order yet, it is over three months away.
