Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)

Ahead of The Rise of Skywalker two weeks from tomorrow, I'm attempting to re-watch all of the previous live action Star Wars movies in chronological order. The Phantom Menace I attempted to watch Attack of the Clones last night, fell asleep during the speeder chase through Coruscant, and...

Didn't check out the deleted scenes yet, but... Just got finished watching it ten minutes ago; I'd forgotten how much I love this film... quite possibly my favorite Star Wars movie.

Well, the design head of TPM and AOTC, Doug Chiang, has quit in order to spend more time on his personal projects. He plans to come on the Episode III team as a regular designer, though his plans were a bit amorphous at the time he was interviewed. I wonder who has hired to head the Episode III...

Terrell: While it's true most digital projectors can't handle the resolution, 35 mm can. If the digital projectors aren't better in two and a half years, then the film in this case might actually produce a better image (assuming they do a proper print off job.)

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)

Forbes has an article about Lucas' one of a kind business setup. At the end it mentions that Lucas and McCallum recently visited Sony to check on the progress of the 10-megapixel camera that they are developing for Episode III. 10-megalpixels is believed to be at the outer edge of resolution for...

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)

I wish Lucas could convince Lawerence Kasdan to co-write the script for Epsiode III. In my opinion, the Star Wars scripts he was involved with (Empire/Jedi) had the most fluid dialogue of the films. Johnathan Hales really didn't do much to clean up Lucas' dialogue, the only real problem in the...

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)

FYI: Prior to AOTC, Empire was the most hacked up Star Wars score, not TPM. Interesting, no?

Since those pickup sessions have been on the schedule for a long while now, I'd go with the latter theory rather than the former. Just more Fox promoting it's product, as much as I'd like to say that Star Wars has that much influence:).

As for why Dooku didn't just shoot them when he had the chance... read the Novelization. The Geonosians like big arena spectacle. Why not kill two birds with one stone by getting them killed and appeasing the people you're trying to ally with. We don't really know what Dooku's stance is. On...

But Luke already had Vader marked as a good man, and spend his all trying to bring him back to the lightside... even as Vader betrayed Luke to the Emperor.
