I agree that raised tempers are always going to be part of the equation when it comes to film/television productions.
But Walter said that in “almost 60 years of working, I’ve never had anybody yell at me like that on a set". That implies to me that whatever occurred was well beyond what we...
That's what blows my mind about this: Tambor had already been fired from "Transparent" when he exploded at Walter. You'd think after losing one job in a high-profile way, he'd have been on his best behavior on the next job.
The New York Times just posted a hell of an interview with the cast. When the topic of Tambor verbally berating Walter on set comes up, all of the men (especially Bateman) sort of minimize what happened as Walter's there crying and only Shawkat sort of speaks up in Walter's defense.
I thought they recast the role because of the storyline until your post. I do think some of that is makeup and prosthetics, because he doesn't look that bad in this YouTube interview from a year ago.

Four episodes in for me. I think Kristen Wiig makes a decent enough young Lucille, but I just don't see Seth Rogan as a young George, Sr.So far I think they've done a good job of capturing the characters again without too heavily falling back on the old recurring gags and one-liners. It feels...
Fox accidentally posted the press release for the upcoming Netflix season before taking it down. Assuming that nothing changes before the press release is properly posted, we'll be getting a 14-episode season uploaded all at once to Netflix on May 4th, and the episode titles will be as follows...
They must have kept the original blueprints for the sets. When shows have to recreate old sets, they usually come across feeling a little off. See "Serenity" vs. "Firefly" for an example. Other than being under construction, those feel exactly like what I remember. The first picture in...
