I never heard that -- can anyone confirm? (I had the HK DTS DVD long before it was released theatrically in the US.) Also, can anyone comment on the specific cuts made to the region 1 DVD of Kung Fu Hustle?

I was thrilled to discover that Sony would be handling Kung Fu Hustle after the abomination that Miramaxe hacked out of Shaolin Soccer!

I don't know if I would go so far as to say that the dub is better, but I do think that the English dub on this disc is very good as English dubs go. I normally don't enjoy them at all, but this one was at least listenable. The voice actors did a nice job.

It's one of those scenes that still cracks me up every time, even when I know what's coming! :)
