Just picked up the soundtrack to The Two Towers last week and got to hear the whole thing while I traveled this past weekend. An Excellent soundtrack! Strange though: I thought it was effective during the movie but felt the music wasn't as magical or memorable as the wonderful FOTR...

Regarding some of the of cgi shots: I agree with you Dennis that some of these looked pretty bad. Some are terrific too. But the worst one is the shot of Legolos walking down shooting one of the Isenguard Wolves. He looks like he's walking on a treadmill. Pretty bad. ESB did have ALOT more...

Kim D, I think the dialogue was "looped" in very low recording wise if that's the right term??? I've seen this 3 times and the last time it was better...but still difficult to hear at times. I noticed the dialogue was louder during the final hour or so than the first hour.

Anyone seen this in an IMAX theater yet??? It's playing here at the Cinemark IMAX in Dallas and I am tempted. I'm sure it will be "letterboxed" for lack of a better term. I also wonder how difficult it would be to see images that close for 3 hours? It would be great sound though. On a downer...
