The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)

Went to see TTT last night for the 4th time with a friend who had never seen it. It was great. The scene with Grima telling Saruman about the people fleeing Edoras for Helm's Deep had me laughing this time out. He definately channeled the Grinch for his line about the people being many and...

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)

Thats a good example of Andy being on set with the other actors and the animators brushing the textures onto Andy's hand. Thats why it all looks so wonderfully real.

Yes Mark, I grew up with horses and they can charge down pretty much anything....top it off that these are not ordinary horses as they show amazing endurance and intellegience.

The cave troll taking arrow hits was PJ's invention as Sting drove him away in the books. A toe shot to be precise. Stupid fat troll. :) I also enjoy the relationship with animals and beasts in Middle Earth. The "good guys" work with their animals to accomplish their goals and the "bad guys"...

Ya that was kinda poor but I was talking just the composition of the shot. But maybe Faramir sprayed OFF on his arrow. You know, the new stuff with Fell Beast Repellant.

Ok Holadem I blacked out my spoiler there...sorry if anyone got upset with that one. Favorite shot - Frodo and the Fell Beast in Osgiliath facing off. The wide shot of both of them. I love that one. Least Favorite shot - Gimli sliding under the legs of that Uruk to lighlty tap him in the...

I can't even see Jar Jar and Gollum being on the same page. One was a cartoon and the other was a living being. Gollum is one of the greatest cgi creations since Jurassic Park, IMO

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)

I went and saw it again yesterday for the third time and it was sold out at a matinee. Couple of things I picked out on this viewing that really stuck with me. - Gollum struggling with the rope and complaining that Elves twisted it. Nice touch. - The battering ram coming up the walk pushing...

PJ's cameo was great, I think he nailed that orc. The movie was excellent and a really quick 3 hours. Can't wait to see it again.

Your welcome. Talk about great stuff in that commercial. I really dig the day time stuff with the flying Nazgul. Looks awe inspiring for sure. The White Rider's charge looks like a thing of perfection. I just can't believe how good this looks.

Now Robert, thats not a fair assesement of the value of a rat's ass, I feel it greatly outvalues Roepers opinion. But hey what do I know.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)

I will spoilerize the end of the movie here... Dont read if you don't want to know.... The movie ends shortly after the Helm's Deep battle and before Sam, Frodo and Gollum climb the stairs to Cirith Ungol. This means no Shelob and no Voice of Sauruman.
