I have been watching some 7th and 8th season episodes on Amazon Prime. Those beautiful HD transfers make me wish there were Blu-rays available from MPI!!
This conversation was on the last Kickstarter update. Gunnar and Matthew are Sam's older twin brothers. Hmmm.....

All we can do is go by what Sam said: A formal announcement is forthcoming this summer but I’m excited to let you Kickstarter supporters hear the news first. The initial release is planned before the year is out.
Hopefully, it will happen.
Some of the later original episodes would have O&H reminiscing about some past occurrence and they would flash back to that. I believe it was David Nelson who sold the episodes to Gaines. Back in the 1970s I purchased many of them.
