Are the presets limited to just SXM or all available radio channels?
In my car, my presets can be any mix of FM, AM, or SXM stations, so I don't think there would be anyway for SXM to sync up my car to the app.
The more annoying feature of my car is that there's no easy way for the driver to...
The part of the story that I didn't rely in my previous post was where I tried to cancel over the weekend, but it directed me to the chat, which wasn't available at the time.
And the chat wasn't phrased as "what if we offer you this?" It was phrased as "we can sign you up for this package as...
My year of low-priced Platinum was due to run out on January 10, so I jumped on the chat to cancel. Their first counteroffer was the Music and Entertainment at the same price for 24 months. I said no. Then they were going to offer Platinum at a higher price for 24 months. Again, no...
I didn't have to adjust the presets in my car (2016 Subaru Forester) with the recent channel changes. The presets automatically pointed to the new channel numbers.
It's been 12 days since my subscription ended and I finally got the first e-mail attempt to get me back.
$5.99 per month (plus fees) for 12 months. Technically, it's the Music and Entertainment package, but I'll get a free "upgrade" to Platinum for a year. Looking back, this is the same deal...
I've had a few free trials over the years, but nothing I had to directly sign up for. Last year, I signed up for a free three month trial, and when that ended, I got the $5 a month deal. So I don't know how it's classified.
I'll see what they start mailing me in the next few weeks.
Current deal is Platinum at "$5 a month", which really comes out to $6.36 with fees.
On the chat to either keep that deal or cancel. They try to start off with "what channels do you like?" I just say I'd prefer to cut to the point. Best deal they're offering is Music and Entertainment at...
If I cancel SXM, does it stop working immediately, or do they let the month run out? I think I'm due to negotiate sometime by December 18th, and I'm considering just cancelling this month and not worry about subscribing again until January.
