I saw this yesterday and I thought it was pretty great. I know what you mean in your spoiler but I don’t think it hurt the film that much. Your review is still contradictory tho;)

To be clear, this was Affleck’s decision to pass as his plate is full. Warner is not replacing him in this prequel for the reasons you listed.
