While I'd love to see St. Elsewhere released as a full series by Shout, I don't think it's in the cards at this point. I truly wish it was.

I too have been enjoying that Hulu has made St. Elsewhere available in all seasons. Although they initially drove me crazy by putting some episodes in the wrong order, and the existing photo markers for each episode are not always accurate as a result.

I actually have Gitlin's book, but I haven't read it in 20+ years. I also have a volume called Television's Second Golden Age, but I actually only read the chapter dealing with St. Elsewhere. I'm honored to be considered in the same company as those writers.
