Considering that there will be virtually nothing new in the way of "A" games produced for the console, It is amazing that the price of them isn't falling to just blow out the remaining stock.
I see Iwata, the CEO of Nintendo, passed a few days ago. Cancer. Fairly young too. 55. Too bad. He seems to have garnered some respect from Nintendo gamers. RIP.
Trying to decide between Windwaker HD or PikMin3 for the download. I'm kind of leaning toward the Zelda game, but PikMin3 looks like it might not be too bad either.
Tried out the free 24 hour demo of WiiSports Club. It's confirmed. I suck at video game sports just as much as at the real thing. Still it does get a person off the couch for a while.
Also, just want to thank you guys for the suggestions. I'll look into some of those.
That SPLATOON game looks...
That should help. At least, I won't have to listen to people cursing as I'm weaving all over the track.
What other games would you guys recommend for this system?
Well, I cracked like a fresh egg and bought one of these systems. I have to admit that Mario Kart 8 is better than I thought it would be. It's a hoot as a single player game, but I bet it would be a blast as a multi-player: especially, with a family. I'll try the online multi-player at some...
It seems like Sony and Microsoft are putting too much emphasis on "social media" functionality. It's meaningless to me. I don't have a Facebook or Twitter account. I post enough inane comments in forums. I don't need to describe my uneventful life to the uncaring masses a 140 words at a time...
Thanks. That's still a long ways off. I have to admit I've been getting more interested in picking this system up, but I've been trying to refrain. Too many games and game systems as it is. Still, that Zelda game does make this system a lot more attractive to buy.
In Canada, a lot higher. Playstation4 with one game (Second Son) and one controller is 469.00. Everything else would be extra. A second controller would be 60 bucks and a second controller is pretty well mandatory if a person likes long gaming sessions. The 4 hour battery limit on PS4...
350 bucks (not including taxes) for the "Mario Kart 8" bundle in Canada. Nintendo has rocks in their head. It's no wonder this last gen pile of components is selling so anemically. They really blew it by thinking that casual "gamers", who bought into the Wii motion gimmick, were going to be...
Because it isn't better than everything else out there on a purely technical basis. Games may be a different story; however, in my case, Nintendo's games have never really appealed. I will give them props for Zelda: ALBW though. That is a good game for 3DS.
It doesn't when you explain it that way. I tend to focus on the technical specs of a new piece of hardware when valuing it. Like you pointed out, Nintendo makes sure that most of their games are exclusive to their system, so the software does sell the hardware, even if it is beyond obsolete when...
