I haven't been to Target in a couple weeks but as of 4 days ago there were still about 3 WiiU consoles(Bundle with Mario Kart 8) at the WalMart closest to my house.
I'm still seeing a bunch of the consoles at my local Wal-Mart, and Target. I think the price gouging/scalping is starting a little bit early on the WiiU. It hasn't even left store shelves yet.
WOW! I am an Outrun fanatic and never got the chance to play this one.
I love Sega, and Streets OF Rage 2(best beat em up ever, and that music) a no-brainer. imports work on all DS systems correct?
I will get a 3ds XL-Lime Green(Amazon exclusive) and I promise you it will be the last...
I am skipping Star Fox Zero. I have never loved the series, but did buy the games as they were released(my favorite for the N64). I'm too backlogged with games now, and the control sounds like a chore.
No thanks.
Interesting, if true it is probably more what you mention than my imagination running wild. I immediately thought back to the near partnership with Sony to make the Nintendo Playstation in SNES days. I'm thinking it could happen again, and playing Zelda, or Mario on the Ps4 would be neat. But...
Forgive me if this has been brought up earlier-RUMOR-Nintendo NX will work with PS4? What?

I don't collect Amiibo figures....but if they ever make a Mach Rider Amiibo, I'm in for all of them(I'm a completist). Crossing my fingers they never make a Mach Rider Amiibo.
Screw Nintendo! 400 copies nation wide for Gamestop, Best Buy, and Amazon each. So yeah, 1,200 copies now completely sold out and going for $100 or more. I had a change of heart and decided to buy it because I am an Itagaki fan no matter what. Not any more. I'm not going digital(no way to...
I would love to see Nintendo resurrect some of their long forgotten properties for current Gen. Urban Champion might be interesting, but doggone do I love Mach Rider. I'll never understand why this failed, and F-Zero survived. A motorcycle rider equipped with weapons through a post...
I read it from a comment section from the IGN review. The commenter noted he had a definite pre order date from a site(Dec 10?). And it was cancelled for him so he assumed that physical is dead for the game.
I tend to believe it, but have not received the official word yet as my pre order at...
Well, I guess it depends on who you ask. Ninja Gaiden Black for the X Box was hailed as one the best action adventure titles of its time. Certainly one of the best games I played for that system. Ninja Gaiden 2 for the XBox 360 while not as good was still pretty great.
And as far as Fighting...

WOW! Devil's Third a game 6 years in development from Itagaki (Dead Or Alive, Ninja Gaiden creator). And we get a score of 3.5(awful) from IGN?
I'm shocked. This Nintendo exclusive should have been the Action/adventure game that...
Nintendo has no one to blame. They are actually two generations behind when it comes to online play. The WiiU launch was practically a secret. I remember my niece who is a huge Nintendo fan thought the WiiU was a deluxe version of the Wii. And given the name of the system(come on Nintendo...
I think the next Zelda game will be pushed back to an almost uncomfortable release date for the WiiU and then released on both the WiiU and the next gen Nintendo system. Much like the Gamecube/Wii release for Twilight Princess.
Just my opinion.
I was starting to get worried that 'Devil's Third was cancelled for the WiiU through rumors floating around a couple months ago....then I found this:

Thank goodness.
I have bought a few games for the VC on WiiIU and have been pretty impressed. Castlevania is a favorite and plays beautifully on my
Gamepad(I use the D-pad and everything controls how it should). The great thing especially with a tough game like this is that the WIIU autosaves the last place...
A heartfelt eulogy from the creator of Smash Brothers in regard of Iwata:

In honor of Iwata Nintendo has posted all the "Iwata Asks" interview sessions:

Very informative, and well rounded questions to a peek inside video game development.
My favorite was The Legend Of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, maybe because I love the game so...
It is haphazard with the story- but the controls are just insanely horrible. I can say in all honesty it is the worst FPS I have ever played. Something I really didn't consider possible this late in evolution of video games.
I just realized the absent title I have been waiting for that will probably never happen-a new side scrolling Metroid for the Wii U. I can dream right?
Anyway playing online MarioKart is a weird experience. I'm having fun, and I like that the players are indicated with the location of their...
A little bit longer wait than I hoped for Mario Maker, but with the Zelda absence
This holiday season, I guess it will be better for me to fill the void.
Also Devil's Third should be out soon.
Pro controller it is.
I do own a Wii, and regretted buying it from day one. With respect for all people that love the Wii, more power to you. It was just not my thing. It felt like a gimmick rather than a true gamers console in my opinion. This all stems from the Wii mote controller. I...
I have been thinking about getting a second gamepad because it is my favorite controller, and if the games utilize the screen on it there is nothing better. At the nintendo shop you can buy a refurbished 32 gb system with controller for $200. Well, I can go for that, keep the gamepad, and sell...
I'm starting to wonder if getting a second Gamepad controller will even be worth it. From the looks of it, it seems the WiiU may only have one good year left, maybe two. Mind you, I love the system but I am ashamed to say it is still third in my choice of gameplaying 1.PS4, 2. Xbox 360 3.WiiU...
Zelda for the WiiU has been postponed and no longer targeted for a release in 2015. It saddens me to see this, as I was hoping for it to be the must have video game for Christmas this year.
And it would certainly help sales of the WiiU--Which I'm not really sure how it is doing currently. I...
Well with Smash Brothers, Bayonetta, Hyrule Warriors(yes, this is starting to look good to me) Devil's Third, Mario Maker, Zelda etc. WiiIU is certainly my gaming console of choice for the next couple years.
