Originally rated G - as well as U in the UK, suitable for ages 4 and up. It was in fact later rerated PG, but as pointed out, standards have changed and evolved over time and were in a fair amount of flux in the early years.
LOL no, but there shoulda been one year the stars aligned. Anyway, nobody could have played the lead in The Ruling Class with the brio and humor he brought to it. Not to everyone’s taste, however.
I’m in agreement with all these, particularly The Ruling Class, where once again Peter O’Toole gave an brilliant, astonishing performance, yet no Oscar (though nominated). Had a particular mutual affinity for this film with my high school English teacher.
