I would add Grave of the Fireflies, the classic anime film, to the list of the best anti-war movies. It does such a great job of showing the effects of war on civilians through the story of two children who have been orphaned. Simply devastating.
One I would like to see is a 4K of The Searchers since it was filmed in Vistavision. I do not know the state of the film elements, but it could really use some help since it came out on Blu-ray in 2006.
Maybe with Paramount releasing Liberty Valance in 4K, there is some hope for more classics...

I would highly recommend the Criterion edition of A Raisin in the Sun. That movie adaptation of the play is an emotional experience and the transfer is superb, sourced from a 4K restoration a few years back.
