The 3 hour version was shown in the UK on ITV 4 yesterday afternoon, 19 Nov. Almost 60 years since i have seen it. Not hd but looked ok to me. MGM logo at the end for a United Artists release, I have the german release but have not watched it yet

That is the problem with Sidonis. There are 8 different countries that do a blu ray version of The Egyptian accoring to blu ray .com. I don't know this but I doubt they all have forced subs

I have some hopes with Ivanhoe and Sodom and Gommorah getting released recently and a couple of peplums slated by Kino. There is no trend though just pot luck
