    A Few Words About A few words about...™ Supernatural - in Blu-ray

I wanted to like this film but unfortunately it wasn't very good.

A Few Words About A few words about...™ The Lives of a Bengal Lancer - in Blu-ray

Personally, I believe that if the original elements are too damaged or worn out then the second best possible version, if it exists, should then be scanned and released. For instance, I torrented a HQ version of the 1938 classic Angels With Dirty Faces, and it looks AMAZING, it's perfect,it just...

Would you buy a Cleopatra: Director's Cut?

One last question, if they were to find the missing footage, how would they fill it with music? or would this be already scored footage?

    Caligula: 4-disc Imperial Edition (10/02)

the whole original footage has been found but then it was never restored.

Would you buy a Cleopatra: Director's Cut?

There seems to be contradictory versions about what could have happened to the missing footage. Schawn Belson says it's gone and not on Fox, Dorothy Spencer said they were in Deluxe General Laboratories. Brad Geagley has said that an extensive search has not been done. Only a miracle would...

    A Few Words About A few words about...™ Cleopatra (1963) - U.S. Release -- in Blu-ray

It is SHAMEFUL that film's color timing is fundamentally being changed, in Cleopatra's case, from a warm toned movie, to an excessively dark, Nolanized teal version. Shameful. Would people allow the Mona Lisa to be repainted and reprinted as a 3D object?? I assume they wouldn't, so why is this...

The head of Fox archives at the time said that the footage went to the DeLuxe labs. Have the searches been done there?

Would you buy a Cleopatra: Director's Cut?

You're wrong. Elizabeth Taylor had many important scenes, eliminated, off the top of my head, a final divination scene where the gods abandon her, at least three scenes featuring Caesarion, two pivotal scenes involving Antony before the battle of Actium, a scene dealing with Antony's corpse and...

    Hamilton on Broadway

I have to say I don't understand the concept of this show. Before Donald Trump took office, Mike Pence went to see it and one of the black actors berated Pence at the end of the show saying his administration doesn't represent everyone. The show is presented as diversity but all of the real life...

A Few Words About A few words about...™ The Lives of a Bengal Lancer - in Blu-ray

well, the ones that look like nothing have been done to them are the ones that look the best, And they are what the people actually want, people do not want these altered, digitally recomposed films.

Good time to Try Unwatched Films?

wonder if Ben-Hur, the best version and the best silent film ever, will ever come out on bluray.

A Few Words About A few words about...™ The Lives of a Bengal Lancer - in Blu-ray

haven't seen it but I absolutely love the blurays were no money has been put into them because they are usually just the film scanned and that's it, and to me, these represents an authentic film experience in digital transfer.

    Dame Elizabeth Taylor

I absolutely love her, a true film icon starring in some of the best classic films. I just wish they would find the missing Cleopatra footage and have her ouvre finally be complete.

A Few Words About A few words about...™ Beau Geste - in Blu-ray

1939 is not the prime year of films, I don't think there is such a thing, however, Silent Films up to 1963 is the best time for films, they are objectively and categorically better than everything that came after, in my opinion. Gary Cooper is a genius and one of the best actors of all time...
