Yes I have seen both episodes VII and VIII and I most definitely regret it. I'm sick and tired of overly sensitive types of people who just can't handle any sort of criticism against the sequel trilogy. You can stop watching these movies after episode IV and you wouldn't be missing much at all.
This Solo movie is most definitely growing on me. The only rough spots are that damn loud mouth droid and Lando wanting to sleep with it. Having said that I might even buy the Blu-ray. :D
People keeps saying that these Star Wars Story films are "playing it safe" with tried and true characters I say bullshit! The only Star Wars movie to truly play it safe is the much adored and worshipped for whatever bizarre/stupid reason episode VII the force awakens. That one is so pathetically...
Everybody in Hollywood is signed up to do their own Star Wars trilogy now. Talk about too many cooks in the kitchen. That's what is killing the brand!!
I wouldn't call the sequel trilogy a saga or part of a saga they are the after-the-fact/deja vu trilogy. Hell's bells Mark Hamill doesn't even like them.
You know I've been thinking. I think that Rose has some sort of mental disorder. For instance she goes from wanting to punch everyone in the face on Canto Bight to not wanting to indulge in violence at all even though she almost kills Finn trying to save him on that red dust planet with her...
Abrams churns out remakes. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there's a Death Star 4.0 in episode IX complete with some idiotic magical midget creatures running around.
Someone should do a 70's grindhouse edition of Rogue One complete with film grain and blemishes throughout the movie. Did you guys see that neat and nifty retro VHS trailer for Rogue One on YouTube? That was great!! :D
Disney never should've broke tradition and released Solo in May, it like all the rest of these newest Star Wars films should only be released in December and that's what should happen from now on.
I gave Solo another shot at the cinema yesterday and I have to say that it's not bad, it's pretty good. Alden Ehrenreich is great as Han Solo. Emilia Clarke is so cute and adorable. Donald Glover is great as Lando but I have some problems with the female droid and all of that droid rights stuff...
I'm not expecting anything from the hack master himself j.j. abrams for Star Wars episode IX. I don't like the deja vu um I mean the after-the-fact...........the sequel trilogy at all. I have infinitely more faith in the spin-off movies. Rogue One and Star Wars is the only 2 films in this...
I love Boba Fett but he should've been at least one of the villains in the Solo movie. Disney really needs to condense these Star Wars films down and not have a movie every time some random Star Wars character farts explaining why he/she/it had that flatulence.
You know what would have made The Last Jedi infinitely better? Having Darth Vader in the movie kicking ass in some flashback scenes of him and also having Kylo Ren travel to Vader's Castle and just checking it out especially the underground Sith Temple. That would've made episode VIII so very...
Well I seen Solo in the theater and I have to admit I was not impressed. The first 20 minutes or so are just way too dark and murky which is a strange thing to say coming from me because I do like dark and stylish films like Batman (1989). Maybe I'll give it another shot at a cheaper matinee...
