i'd rather see them release the shows as original as possible, in kind of rough(er) condition, than see them try to OVER-restore the shorts, and using those f'd up ones for a dvd set.

probably mentioned already: - Tom & Jerry Golden Collection Vol. 1 i wish they would actually restore the shorts properly for which they had found the original intro and title cards prior to release, even if they only found like 5 to 8 nitrate shorts at most, they just decided not to use them...

as far as actual guesses goes for this year, i'd say bring on The Flintstone Comedy Hour (1972) and since it now has been released on ITunes in full, might as well release The Flintstone Kids. it's the 60 year anniversary of The Flintstones, so bring us some dvd/blu-ray releases already :)...

according to TVShowsonDVD's FB page, the studio has not given them ANY info on rather or not the episodes of The Jetsons are actually restored with original intro/end credits and NO title cards etc., of if they are infact just blatant copies of the previously released DVD set.

why not just release whatever you have in lesser quality, for DVD only, and everything that CAN be restored to high quality for both DVD AND Blu-Ray? at this point these shows are so old, we just want them released regardless.

for Quick Draw , we were told around 2007, that they had plans to release it, but the material they had, to work with, was too poor quality, and restoring it would cost a lot of money..... so they skipped over it. there may or may not have also been money issues to get the musical...

it is NOT a joke, there are multiple rights issues, considering we don't know what the issues are, it could very well have nothing to do with Warner simply not paying up for the episode.... perhaps some people involved in the episode, just don't want it to be released, nothing Warner could do...

easy, you build your own collection from as high quality possible TV recordings / 16 or 35 mm transfers/ etc / etc.... that's what i've been doing since like 2005, and i'm missing almost nothing, not counting the 1980's/1990's, since most of those shows i don't care for.
