Did you try another HDMI in on the receiver to see if it was an issue with just the one, or all?

I'd start by matching the cutoff freq. of the surrounds. If Audyssey set those up to drop out at 80 Hz, set the sub x-over to pick it up from right around there. Check out some of the bass management vids on youtube. They may be able to help you pinpoint your problem.

I agree with you here. It's not that Bourne Legacy was a bad movie, per se. It's just that it wasn't a Bourne movie. Maybe they should have named it Treadstone Legacy. And no, the latest, Jason Bourne, wasn't a bad movie..... it just felt so typical. Or as I said before.... formulaic.

I was curious about the ELACs as well.

If all else fails, you can try the Peel Smart remote, if they have smart phones with IR ports. Worked like a charm for me when I "lost" my BD player remote for a month or so.
