Jason Bourne and identity were the only ones with 4k DIs, the other 3 are 2k.

I got the 4k box set at 50% off ordered and have never seen any of them. Looking forward to seeing them.
Robert, im noticing simething here.
You say you aren't a fan of running older movies through hdr treatment, but I believe you have personally approved all the catalog HDR moves you've seen so far, so it sounds like from the consumer standpoint HDR is the best way to restore a movie and bring...
The softness at times was atrocious.
Here's some shots on my Samsung KS9800, their flagship tv this year which also won the UK HDR shootout. Yes everything is setup properly and there are no variables. The black crush is just a camera issue when capturing an hdr picture.
Clearly you can see...
Interesting. I'm curious if watching on a projector can hide issues. All the reviews so far, and also Stacy Spears at spectracal have noted the softness of wide shots. Colors and hdr look spectacular, so you have to definitely assess resolution without being in aw by the new colors and...
I enjoyed the sharpness and clean look and deep looking textures that true 4k offers. A breath of fresh air after recently watching the disappointing Batman Vs Superman which is 85% upscaled for its 4k Di.
How does the resolution differ (very noticeable or just subtle) and is there a big difference with hdr here? Also, how do the imax scenes differ from the 1080p blu ray?
Visually this movie isn't great. The blacks are gray and looks upscaled most of the time. I did enjoy the plot though. Anyone looking for 4k eye candy should pass. There's only a few scenes that looked good but the black levels bog it down.
Just watched it. The hdr in this movie was incredible. The outfits, gold, silver, props, all looked unbelievably awesome. The green screen softness showed often, but I didn't care. Quite a few scenes looked native 4k. The 1st 20 minutes are pure eye candy hdr demo material. After that, it's up...
Sicario was also 3.4k with the Arri Alexa XT. Sicario was noticeably sharper and had better textures, easily visible on my 65".
The best part of deadpool was the suit itself. Looked great. Everything else I thought at times looked soft.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you're complete assessment of deadpool Robert.
Myself and a few others were a little underwhelmed with the resolution considering it came from a 4k di, which to me means that inferior cameras were used at different times which then become upscaled on the final DI...
