Sounds great anticipating your review on the SVS unit.
Those James subs look nice a local distributor for me that I'm subscribed to has had them for a couple years now, really should go have a listen one day.
Though I'm more than happy with my EP500 I picked during your $1000 units...
Do hope it doesn't chuff.
When I started had cheap Subs that would, From my minor experience, Seems if it does the usual grunts and farts of the ports are too noticeable. As soon as it starts could always hear it and ruined all the rest of the sounds. Although those little 150 200 watt ers...
SVS makes some awesome subs.
I to went from a cheap 12 inch sub I got really cheap though it was prone to chuffing. Have now had a PB1000 for about 3 years though beware if you have decent towers that can do a low 40hz I found my 1000 to be insufficient. with book shelves it was the cats meow.

To cool,
Rythmik has a pretty detailed site. and competitive price.
Have you seen the MINIDSP yet from the UMIK 1 web site to quote audioholics "its a must have".
up to 8 channel DSP calibration.
Looks great!!!
Thanx again for all your time and investment in this great thread.
Very informative, as most of our rooms are around half the size of yours. I suspect any of these subs to be a great buy unless one is really looking for the deepest 15Hz or lower
Awesome glad to hear the Hsu is great. To bad for us in Canada they won't ship, to expensive and they can't guarantee the taxes and shipping across the border. I tried before getting my SVS. Both phone and P.C. they refused to send me one.
So in your opinion, I want An EP350, but have a PB1000...
To cool craig.
I kind of suspected just such an occurrence, as the readings from Axioms subwoofer pole must demand high accuracy in the range of tuning Hz. they would be aiming for and demand in the specs. graph.
And SVS being so highly regarded as a low noter happy to hear they are at least...
Awesome thank you so much Craig!!!
Glad to hear the little guy's preforming so well.
I think it is great that you have the knowledge to be able to do these comparisons. Let alone use the software to be able todo the responses and share them with us.
Here on the B.B.ca website they sell the 15...
I found one of the Klipsch we ca order through Best Buy up here. They have a link to another distributor that has
$720CDN. Black Friday sale with a free wireless dongle. Regular $1100. Not an instore option up here
While the EP350 is $995CDN. regular. Gotta love google
Still makes me want an...
Thanks Craig will try the felt.
Have moved my klipsch to the bedroom for kids bedtime movies. Now use All Axiom in my livingroom 7.2 M80 as fronts, VP160, M3 front height and M22 side surround with a SVS PC100 and a cheapo Vector Research sub.
Needless to say my upgraditis is anticipating the...
Thanks Craig, glad to hear the Klipsch is such an apt performer. Maybe the upgrades they have dome in the last couple years are for the better.
I started with Klipsch before I knew of Axiom, I now find their cone tweeters to shrill for my liking. They updated their Reference and THX lines in...
If your on the fence do it it's great. I've been VIP for years the deals are great, the monthly titles are always new releases or pre release titles. You get limited edition items only for club release, there's even a selection of rare and limited edition movies only for club members From Walts...
In my thirties and male into this home theater hobby.
Finally got out of the Theater in a box solutions. Now much happier owner of pro equipment and Axiom speakers. Proud owner of 400 odd C.D.s and 200 odd Blueray/DVDs. Needless to say my children's friends never want to leave.
Thank you Craig!!!
