Yea you're probably right. Although, they really should. It's almost as if they are trying to not make a lot of money. I have not seen any TV ads or anything retarding the HB releases. I hear about them on their podcast, but that's about it.
And also from a money making stand point, it blows my...
Why do you guys care if they are pressed or burned discs?
These are DVDs. Something that very few people still buy.
So unless the tv shows are very popular, they're obviously not gonna spend too much money making them.
Because they will most likely be re-releasing all of the HB classics on...
Licensing does not include video hosting.
The website pays for the rights to stream the show, but the video file can be from anywhere.
So if the best source available is piss poor quality, then that's what they're gonna have to deal with.
They're not some big budget company like Netflix or...
Hanna-Barbera doesn't exist anymore.
And besides, why would they shut down the site? There's nothing wrong or illegal about it.
There's also another site called toon.is. They focus a lot more on older cartoons.
This site is also legal and free.
Same with youtube, funimation, kissanime...
That is great news.
I just hope it's not some Volume 1 concept.
They tend to burn themselves on that one.
I'm still waiting for the rest of the Huckleberry Hound and Yogi bear episodes.
Wait a minute. Isn't The new adventures of Huckleberry Hound a Saban and DIC cartoon?
Btw, speaking of Huckleberry. I really hope they'll release the rest of the Huckleberry Hound show.
Completely unrelated, I know :)
Jonny Quest 1980's Vol 1, huh?
Again with the volumes. Don't they realize that cutting them in half like that will give them less money?
Only the big fans are gonna collect something like that. Especially old-school stuff like Jonny Quest.
I like that show, but I'm not gonna spend money on the...
I have been trying to find the 3rd season of The Jetsons. Can't find it on either ebay or amazon.
Is it even out publicly yet? Or is it just for reviewers, magazines and stuff?
Most likely on Wonder Con.
On March 25's WA Podcast, they announced that the 3rd season will be released in a few weeks.
And wondercon is next week, so there you go:)
This is exactly what I'm talking about.
They wait forever to release things. And when they decide to release something, it's either cut down due to violence or "bad" words.
It's ridiculous.
Don't get me wrong. I'm glad they release these shows and movies. But when will these companies stop...
The shows were fine back when they aired on Cartoon Network.
But this is what happens when WA decide to wait forever before they release these things.
And the fact that they always release these shows in Volume or Season format, makes it a pain to collect.
I don't understand how that's even...
