I had purchased a MONOPRICE 10565 Premium 5.1 channel Home Theater system with 8" down firing subwoofer awhile back. I have a Sony STR-DH540 connected to them. After about a year or so one of the surround speakers would make a staticy sound from time to time and still does. 6 months or more...
In connecting a subwoofer what is it I need to look for in a cable should it be rg6, rg59 does it make a difference? any particular brand? If the sub has two RCA connections do I need to get a Y adapter to connect to AV? or connecting just one RCA fine? What is the best way to hook it up...
