Ok, thanks for the reply. I will check to see if I have that setting. I had an older system and the sound never went beyond 15-20 before it got so loud. That is why I am wondering if there is a setting. Because to crank it all the way to almost maxed out seems kind of odd.

Ok, so I just purchased the Denon DHT-1513BA receiver with the Boston Acoustics speaker system and got home and dug into it right away. I connected my UVerse by HDMI into the TV input, my Philips DVD player by HDMI into the Blu-ray input. I love how it looks and how it sounds....sort of... The...
