Nearly every time I see the (real) poster for this movie, for a second I think I'm looking at David Byrne of Talking Heads. SNL, if Cillian Murphy hosts this fall, I'm getting my request in early for a "Stop Making Sense" skit of some kind. I know for a fact that The Big Suit is clean and ready!

I'd like to see Universal take the elements of the 1925 Lon Chaney "Phantom of the Opera" that they were supposedly gathering, and release that. Including the relatively recently-discovered Technicolor version of the ballet sequence.

This is wonderful! Has anyone heard if this might be including on an upcoming release of The Phantom? I realize the Kino and FFI releases aren't that old, but I have not yet purchased either, and would hate to do so if this footage were to be in included in a later release.

I remember seeing a B&W movie about Lincoln in grade school, in the early 70s. The film I saw included a scene with young Abe lifting an (occupied!) outhouse off the ground, to demonstrate his strength. Anyone know if that is this movie?

Over a year later: I do not know who they are, and I am not alone.

I bailed on this episode about halfway through. It was so dark (I know, they're in a tomb) that I couldn't tell what was going on. I've found the whole series just so-so. That said, after reading the last few posts I may have to go back and finish it, to see if that changes my opinion.
