    3D Blu-ray Review John Carter 3D Blu-ray Review

The only reason I never saw it in the theater is the nearest one it was playing in was Disney's, El Capitan in Hollywood, which is the worst theater I've ever been to. I did order it from Amazon and will have it tomorrow. I saw enough reviews from people who enjoyed it, so I figured why not...

    3D Blu-ray Review Hugo Blu-Ray 3D Review

Watching it on my 55" Panasonic showed some minor ghosting in a few scenes. It certainly was nowhere near "unwatchable", not even mildly annoying. Martin Scrocese is giving James Cameron good comptition in the field of 3D movies. I also watched it in 2D. 2D wasn't nearly as enjoyable as 3D...

    Vision and 3D TV

All's well that ends well...and I'm sorry I didn't think of it sooner. There was nothing wrong with her vision. I have a low, wide center speaker on the TV's pedestal. My better half moved it while dusting. The pedestal isn't flat, but rises as it gets closer to the screen. By moving it, she was...

    Vision and 3D TV

Thanks for the replies. She had here eyes examined and the doctor did note that here eye muscles could be stronger and showed her how to do exercizes to strengthen them, and also changed her lenses. Time will tell. With regard to whether 3D TVs will survive, I think that very much depend on...

    Vision and 3D TV

I am posting this here because I can't think of anywhere else that it properly belongs. My better half an I love 3D movies and have had a Panasonic 3D TV and home theater for about a year. When we got the 3D blu ray of Hugo, she complained she was seeing double images. We switched glasses, but...

    3D Blu-ray Review Hugo Blu-Ray 3D Review

Yes, Hugo is a masterpiece that should have won best picture and best director. This is how 3D movies should be made. I think it proves that making a 3D movie from scratch is the only way to go. Star Wars in 3D was such a disappointment and I hear that Titanic is going to be worse.

A Few Words About A few words about...™ The Roots of Heaven -- in Blu-ray

When I was growing up, I saw this film on TV and loved it. It was on fairly often and I watched it as often as I could. It had a worthy message, and back then, the characters seemed plausible. When I heard it was available on Blu-ray, my first thought was to buy it. Then I thought about it and...

    3D Blu-ray Review Conan the Barbarian (2011) 3D Blu-ray Review

Thank you for that review. I knew from when I first saw the trailer, the movie was a dog. Now I know I shouldn't even bother getting it from Netflix.

Blu-ray Review The Debt Blu-ray Review - Recommended

Thank you for that review. I think I liked the movie better than you did, because in this type of movie, I always look for how the job effects the field agents involved. This movie satisfied me in that regard. I found the movie well cast and directed. I found the characters to be believable.

    Blu-ray Review Cowboys & Aliens Blu-ray Review

The price has varied at Amazon. I pre-ordered it at $24.99, but when it was released, it was $19.99. Now that the holiday sales are over, it is back at $24.99

A Few Words About A few words about...™ Rise of the Planet of the Apes

I have no objection to the continuation of the series if they are not allowed to sink to the level of the first series of sequels. I don't think I could handle that. The only problem I see is that Rise doesn't mesh with the remake of Planet, terribly well.

    Blu-ray Review Cowboys & Aliens Blu-ray Review

I enjoyed this movie a lot, and I'm glad I bought the BRD. The scenery and cinematography were awesome. The video and audio were great. There were two areas that didn't quite work for me. At the beginning of the movie, Harrison Ford didn't really portray the , "bad guy", image terribly well. And...

How to get audio with the TV turned off?

I recently purchased a Panasonic SC-BTT770 5.1 Channel 3D Blu-ray Cinema Surround Home Entertainment System to augment my Panasonic 55 inch 3D plasma TV. It is connected as follows: HDMI (ARC) to the TV HDMI 1 to the Cable STB HDMI 2 to a backup 3D blu ray player Everything works fine, but I...
