    Hi Cris, You will never guess what some lamps do as they approach death. They put out colors in the spectrum other than the pure white intended. Try the new lamp first. You may find yourself back in the CCA settings in the service menu. Oh yea... prepair to be blown away by the new lamp...

    Any plasma set is fine for gaming as long as you're aware of the burn-in hazard. More recent models have overcome that issue for the most part; older plasmas are a problem with images that don't change on-screen for long periods of time.
