I ordered Swing Time and The Baker's Wife. Plus, a non-Criterion TV series I've been waiting a while on for a price drop finally dropped into my price range.
I was travelling in Europe for the first time. As the movie wasn't available in the theaters where I lived, I decided to see what all the fuss was about while in Amsterdam (appropriately). One viewing was enough for my lifetime.
I tried to check-out. However, they changed their system, so if you registered before January 2018 you have to re-do the password. There's no reponse after clicking the link. Tomorrow mornng, I'll give it another go. Or maybe try buying as a guest.
The Great Escape, Casablanca... maybe The Wizard of Oz when I was a kid (and I've never seen it in colour).
I need to wait a few years between viewings for most films that I own.
There's another Dunkirk film with Jean-Paul Belmondo - Weekend at Dunkirk (1964). It's been eons since I saw it, so I can't say whether it's good or bad.

I've had a couple cracked disques from Netflix. After reporting the issue, they sent a replacement immediately, so I had it for my Saturday night viewings. Streaming I can forget. Though I live in a major metropolitain area, the Comcast monopoly is growing as reliable as dial-up.
Grabbed Breaker Morant, The Killers and Night and the City. I also had hopes for Mulholland Drive, but will have to wait for B&N.
I first saw Breaker Morant on a kibbutz in Israel. The projectionist had something to do, so he showed the first reel and last. Years later, I managed to see the...
I was travelling through Greece when they were filming it. The part in the beginning, where all the ships were soundng their horns was in Brindisi, Italy. I was there when it happened, waiting for the ferry to Corfu. Through Greece in hostels (when were weren't sleeping on the beach) there were...
