3D Blu-ray Review Cease Fire: THE HTF 3D ADDICT REVIEW

The bluray of Cease Fire is certainly one of the most immersive war films I have ever watched. The 3D is absolutely astounding. The image quality is second to none, the Sound is amazing. Run, do not walk to the nearest retailer and buy this film.

    3D Gun Fury 3D Blu-ray cover

Tonight I watched the film and was duly impressed with the 3D and the colors of the transfer. Some sections looked better than others, but in all it was a nice sharp image, and the story was a compelling one to watch - and I'm not really a Western fan. The cast was stellar and I loved some of...

    3D Gun Fury 3D Blu-ray cover

I received this yesterday and had a quick preview if the disc. The transfer is very nice and the 3D looks great! The extras include a 2D/3D trailer.

    3D Gog (1953)

Sorry abou the delay in replying, but I'd like to address a point that Todd brought up about 3D enthusiasts complaining about Region locking. I fully agree that a multi region player makes this kind of problem moot. However, if enough voices speak up about the dislike for such practices, maybe...

    3D Gog (1953)

Well, all jokes aside, I look forward to watching this in 2 months time. If all goes well I will be able to play it from my region unlocked BD on the PC via HDMI on the LG TV screen. just need to dig out the 5meter cable...

    3D Gog (1953)

Well my wife and are going to do the following: First we will get the Region A disk in the mail about two weeks after everyone in the USA/Canada. Then we will attempt to rip the disc with AnyDVD HD. Then we will hope to God that the BD image is less than 25gb so we can burn it on to our...

    3D Gog (1953)

At the risk of sounding like a smarty pants, it is ONLY because of Bob and Greg working so damned hard to preserve this film that I have chosen to purchase the BD. Otherwise I would have had no qualms in getting this in less than legit means, especially if the powers that be chose to spit in...

3D Put THE MASK on now!

Looking forward to receiving the blu-ray. I have been getting withdraw-symptoms by not having any decent 3D classics since the rarities bluray...

    3D Gog (1953)

Bob, my wife and I work in the TV industry and both of us were commenting on how good and vibrant The Bubble looks. Our professional opinion was that it look absolutely stunning the way you fixed it up already! Around my circles you get the high praises for your work. Have you thought about...

    3D Gog (1953)

I agree with the Furmanek restoration quality. I took out the Bubble and watched it again. I love that movie. So cool and creepy. Thanks Bob for the update. I am more than happy to wait for the fantastic product. I will be ordering The Mask today to tide me over until Gog!!

    3D Gog (1953)

It would be nice if one of the titles came from outer space

    3D Gog (1953)

Bob, at the risk of sounding like a nagging old mongrel do you have a projected release date for Gog at this point? Also, I could have sworn I saw a post mention region encoding on the BRD, but cannot find it to save my life. Was this the case.

3D An Advance Look at "3-D Rarities" from the 3-D Film Archive and Flicker Alley

I had to wait quite some time for this, as there was a postal strike in Germany. I only got the Bluray last week and enjoyed every minute of the disc. As my wife commented, it is like a time-machine window into the past. As previous reviewers have stated, the 3d view of Washington was...

3D Regarding missing Universal 3-D titles

FYI, I emailed Koch Media here in Germany and asked whether the Creature was anaglyph or real 3d. No reponse, so I figure they put about as much thought into the blu-ray as they did into responding to me.

3D Meet Bob Furmanek: HTF Golden Age 3-D Consultant

I was reading the 3d Film Archive section on post 1966 3D films and noticed that a 3D concert by Sly Stone was never released. Does this still exist as a stereo pair? If so, who would own the rights to it?

3D Meet Bob Furmanek: HTF Golden Age 3-D Consultant

I think the best bet for any movement on 3D releases is for us to fully Support the titles Bob is involved with. He can then present a list of solid sales from relatively unknown B-films, and use that as a base for his Argument to release more well-known titles. If I understand things correctly...

3D Meet Bob Furmanek: HTF Golden Age 3-D Consultant

Reading all of Robert's comments got me thinking: I reckon it would be great if he could give a commentary on the restoration of These films on an additional audio track. It would be awesome, especially if some of the cast could join in as well.

3D Meet Bob Furmanek: HTF Golden Age 3-D Consultant

I really liked Man in the Dark and snapped it up due to its limited print run. The rollercoaster segments were especially impressive. I will grab GOG as soon as it is available for pre-order! The rarities bluray looks great and I will pick that up as well. I only ever saw Hugo in French, and...

3D Meet Bob Furmanek: HTF Golden Age 3-D Consultant

Thanks so much guys! I must say the classic 3d films blow the modern day ones (bar Avatar and Life of Pi) out of the water. Kiss Me Kate will be ordered!

Hi everyone. I have all the Rob Furmanek assisted bluray releases, but have held back on Kiss Me Kate as I cannot determine if it is region free. I am based in Germany, and only have a PS3 to view my 3d blurays. Can anyone help me out? Regards Dwight ps Rob, you know my thoughts on your...
