where is the best place to buy blu ray discs from?

I just upgraded my tv (62 dlp) i have a ps3 connected with hdmi, i have 2 blu-ray movies. I thought all blu ray movies were in 16x9, but both movies come up in letterbox, how can I tell if a blu-ray movie will complety fill the screen or am I doing something wrong.. thanks for ur help
