Well i made a mistake i thought this receiver would be the cats ass. But as far as listening 2 channel audio it sucks. So i got to thinking add a amp and then i could use both pairs of my RTi8s in 2 channel. jerry
I have a set of polk r50s that sound like crap (blown tweets) I'm going to 2 channel is it worth changing the drivers the tweeters and maybe even crossovers to make loudspeakers for 2 channel rock and heavy metal? I looked at parts express but i would not even know where to begin. Or...
I got them at crutchfield and they will be going back. I had a few people over to hear them and all said the r300s sounded better. I have no idea why. jerry
I tried all kinds of settings they just sound flat they have no seperation. Thats with a sub (onkyo). So i went into my kids room and took his polk R300s (@$49.99) and they seem to sound better. The polks have a good strong clear sound. I thought the 360s would Rock? jerry
I have a onkyo 790 and just got a set of primus 360s and not happy with them (muddy). What would you recomend for about $400.00 mostly for cranking rock and roll (heavy metal) thanks jerry
