To my recollection, Warner hasn't let me down yet, except for Rio Bravo. But that's understandable due to the film's age. Since Heat was made in 1995, it HAS to look better than say Bullitt or Dog Day Afternoon.

I received my Heroes HD-DVDs on Saturday. I finished them on Monday. I was very pleased.

With Death Proof coming out on SD on the 18th, I was curious as to what the HD situation is. If it was just Death Proof on HD I wouldn't mind, I liked it better than Planet Terror. This also reminds me of the Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair; will that show up on HD as well?

I'm just curious what exactly the cause for faulty discs is. It's really a bother having to send stuff back to Amazon, more than once. So far, it's only happened to me with two movies, Miami Vice and Children of Men, both Universal movies. Anyone have problems with discs that are not Universal?
